Miat Domestic Flight Servics

The U.S. Embassy prohibits U.S. government personnel use of MIAT domestic service for official travel because of uncertainties regarding MIAT's service schedule, aircraft certification and insurance status. This prohibition does not extend to MIAT's international flights.

For more information about travel overseas, U.S. citizens may consult the Bureau of Consular Affairs website at http://www.travel.state.gov/ or telephone the Overseas Citizens Services Call Center at 1-317-472-2328.

The U.S. Embassy in Ulaanbaatar is located on Big Ring Road, tel: 329-095.  Business hours are 8:30 - 5:00 weekdays, except on U.S. and Mongolian holidays.  Routine American Citizen Services are provided Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 1:00 - 3:00.  U.S. citizens with emergencies outside normal business hours may reach a duty officer at 9911-4168.
