Ulaanbaatar:
AF2 (Air Force Two) wheels down at 12:24 pm local at the aptly named Chinggis Khaan International Airport in Ulaanbaatar.
An honor guard in bright red and blue uniforms, including gold-pointed blue-gray helmets, stood ready on tarmac playing music as pool deplaned.
Pool moved to a riser facing AF2.
Breeze blowing, VPOTUS (Vice President) emerged and was greeted by Prime Minister (PM) Sukhbaatar Batbold, Advisor Och, Defense Minister Bold, Foreign Affairs State Secretary Tsogtbaatar, Ambassador Bekhbat, and U.S. Ambassador Jonathan Addleton.
VPOTUS and the PM walked along red carpet that led to a small riser, where they stood during the national anthems.
The two then walked to inspect the honor guard, stopping for a moment to hear them shout in unison. The two leaders shook hands, posed for photos, then headed for the cars.

Pool told that during the flight somewhere over the Gobi Desert, VPOTUS was briefed on latest developments in Libya.
Government House:
Motorcade arrived at Government House at 1:17 pm after somewhat bumpy ride for meeting with Prime Minister Batbold.
Clusters of people lined the motorcade route, which featured Mongolian and American flags on lamposts after arriving in city limits.
At about 1:30 pm pool brought in for brief pool spray in Ceremony Room B. VP and Batbold seated opposite a small conference table, flanked by the respective delegations. Batbold was speaking, but pool unable to hear much in the hustle of our arrival.
