Information on Sister Cities

An increasing number of private initiatives are connecting Mongolians and Americans.  Sister city relationships are one example of the activities undertaken by Mongolians and Americans directly on their own.  The U.S. Embassy is pleased to provide this information about how Mongolian cities might pursue connections with American cities.  The Embassy is not involved in the formation or maintenance of sister city relationships, but provides this information as a courtesy for Mongolian cities interested in taking the initiative to establish sister city relationships with American cities.

Sister Cities International is the non-profit organization that governs sister city relationships with American cities.  Their website is: http://www.sister-cities.org/
