Defense University of Mongolia Hosts U.S. Cadets
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Two West Point Cadets recently traveled to Mongolia as part of an annual exchange program between West Point and various foreign academies around the world. This is the second year that the Defense University of Mongolia has participated in the program. Foreign Academy Exchange Program visits are scheduled during the spring break period and allow the cadets to spend a week in the country of their choice in order to experience the language and culture. This year Cadet Andrew Colvin and Andrew Heiny represented West Point. Both of these cadets studied Russian as their second language at West Point. In a few weeks, Cadets Enkhbold and Odgerel from Mongolia will travel to West Point and participate in the reciprocal part of the program.
