Hubert Humphrey Fellowships
The Humphrey Fellowship is a one-year, non-degree professional exchange program that brings accomplished, mid-career professionals in public service fields to the United States for approximately one year of university-level study and related professional experience. The fields of study are: Public policy analysis and public administration, Economic development , Finance & banking, Human resource management, Natural resources and environmental management, Urban & regional planning, Trafficking of persons, Technology policy and management, Educational planning, Law/Civil Society/Human Rights and Democratic development, Communications/ Journalism and Nonproliferation Studies.
To qualify for the Humphrey grant competition, applicants must:
- Be a Mongolian citizen and reside in Mongolia
- Hold an undergraduate degree
- Have five years of continuous and substantial professional experience
- Demonstrate leadership qualities and a record of public service
- Have fluent English skills (minimum TOEFL 525)
- At least five years have elapsed since participation of candidate in substantial study in an English-speaking country
