Dear Prospective Quoters,

The Embassy of the United States of America invites you to submit a quotation for the perimeter fence installation service for the U.S. Embassy Ulaanbaatar. Please note the solicitation number is SMG10014Q0020 and is issued as a Request for Quotation. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

  • Items to be acquired: “Perimeter fence, 2m height”
  • Deliver F.O.B. destination: To US Embassy Ulaanbaatar no earlier than September 5, 2014 after contract award.

Instructions on how to complete the quotation are included in Section 3 of the Request for Quotations (RFQ) – a link is provided at the bottom of the page.  For a quotation to be considered, you must also complete and submit the following:

  1. SF-1449
  2. Section 1, Pricing
  3. Section 5, FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their offer.
  4. Additional information as required in Section 3.

Your completed quotation must be submitted before 17:00, August 29, 2014.  You may delivery your response in a sealed envelope marked "Quotation Enclosed for “SMG10014Q0021” to the U.S. Embassy, Denver Street #3, 11th Micro District, Ulaanbaatar 14190, Attn: Thomas Czerwinski, Contracting Officer. You may also email your response to Ulaanbaatar-Procurement@state.gov.  No late quotations will be accepted. Responses must be in English.  Incomplete packages will not be considered.

Per applicable procurement regulations, a pre-solicitation advertisement ran on the U.S. Embassy website from July 02 - July 12, 2014. 

The government estimates that the total value of the contract is less than $202,000 and as a result is not covered under the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement.
