Consultations Held Between Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the U.S. State Department
The Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United States State Department held a regular consultations round on January 29 at MFA. Kh. Bekhbat, State Secretary of MFA, and Dr. T. Christensen, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia and the Pacific, headed their respective delegations. During the consultations, views were exchanged on major issues of bilateral relations, including exchanges of visits, the proposed Millennium Challenge Account Compact, trade and economic relations, and ways to advance the comprehensive partnership between the two countries. Officials from the ministries of Industry and Trade, Finance, Defense, and Roads, Transport and Tourism attended the consultations and made presentations on sectoral cooperation.
